Making a hut

Kia Ora guys!

 Our challenge today was:

  1. Build a fort / tent with items that you find at home.

  2. Your tent/ fort should be big enough to accommodate you.

  3. Take a picture of your creation along with you in it.

  4. Post it on your blog.

Below is a photo of mine.

I just used a sheet and some giant peg things. It's made for anything really, I even wrote this blog post in it!

This isn't really related but I decided to post a fun fact on every blog post I do, here is today's one: The barbie dolls full name is:Barbara Millicent Roberts.

Macaroons

So this week is a challenge week, each day Mrs G posts a new challenge.

On Monday it was a blog challenge we had to do a blog post and heaps of commenting.

On Tuesday it was the egg challenge, you know the one where you have to protect an egg so that when you drop it, it won't break.

Yesterday we had to read a short graphic novel, create a monster and then create a comic about the monster. Click here to read the graphic novel and if you don't know how to access it click here.

And today we had to cook or bake something. I made coconut macaroons (not to be confused with macrons or macarons). It took me and my dad ages to decided to make these. Then we were halve way through we realised that we didn't have enough coconut so my dad added some flour instead, I was worried that it would make it strange but it was delicious. But me and my brother described it as heavenly, if you'd like to see my brothers blog here is the link. Below is the photo of my macaroons.

Also fun fact I learnt: crème brûlée means burned cream.
And no I have not forgotten day 4!

Happy Jar! :-)

I know right, what a hilarious blog title!

This is how the story goes: One of my siblings said that a huge jar of peanut butter was intimidating, my dad was like, "Would it be less intimidating if it had a smiley face?" My sibling shrugged. I'm like, "Yes, Yes!" So I go and grab the vivid and my dad says: "Use a window pen." So I put the vivid back and got a window pen, it didn't really show up so mum just told me to use the vivid. So I drew the face. Then my sibling said it was scary, in my opinion it was cute. My younger sibling was very interested.

Below is it's photo, what should we call it?

And don't worry i haven't forgotten about day 4!

Spring!!! And September!!!

 Well, welcome spring and September.
They've come round again.
Spring is my favourite season. Why? Because the babies are born and the flowers come out. But then again the wasps come out and I'm terrified of wasps.
Do you know why? I was in my garden last summer and there was this hole in the ground which I didn't see and stepped on and there was a wasp nest in it. So I got stung on the shin and the ear and also got one stuck in my hair. ( My ear was like 2 centimetres thick!)
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all the flowers come out and when we're out of lockdown I can go to ambury farm to see the baby animals.
Also big shout out to all the people who have to have their birthdays in lockdown including both of my best friends (Grace, and Tammy). If you'd like to read my friend Grace's blog here is the link: Grace's blog. By the way.............

........Pinch and a bunch for the first of the month!!!
