Holiday reading

 Hey guys!

Welcome to term 4! I'm still in lockdown 😞, so I'll still be daily blogging. And just for your info, it's nuiean language week.

So what did you do in the holidays? I did quite a few things including taking the chance to hangout with two of my friends - Grace and Marejke - and arguing with my siblings.(surprise surprise) But what I'm going to tell about is a reading challenge that Auckland libraries set.

It was a round the world in 14 days challenge - though it wasn't really around the world - on a site called beanstack. So there were to things you could do: one log reading you've done and two do the activities and log them.

Here is a photo of how much reading I've done.

Fun fact:
The oldest-known living land animal is a tortoise named Jonathan, who is 187 years old!

Spring!!! And September!!!

 Well, welcome spring and September.
They've come round again.
Spring is my favourite season. Why? Because the babies are born and the flowers come out. But then again the wasps come out and I'm terrified of wasps.
Do you know why? I was in my garden last summer and there was this hole in the ground which I didn't see and stepped on and there was a wasp nest in it. So I got stung on the shin and the ear and also got one stuck in my hair. ( My ear was like 2 centimetres thick!)
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all the flowers come out and when we're out of lockdown I can go to ambury farm to see the baby animals.
Also big shout out to all the people who have to have their birthdays in lockdown including both of my best friends (Grace, and Tammy). If you'd like to read my friend Grace's blog here is the link: Grace's blog. By the way.............

........Pinch and a bunch for the first of the month!!!

Welcome to Room 11!

For our last cybersmart lesson we were doing the 3 Ss, sites, screenshots and screen casts. With the first two Ss(sites and screenshots) we had a bingo where we had to go on our class site  and take screenshots of the things on the bingo until we got a bingo. That was the learn section. For the create section we had to do a screencastify giving a tour of our class site, which is the video below.

And for the share section I shared it here.
Hope you enjoy it!
